She squatted down before some forget-me-nots, her hands resting on her somewhat soiled knees. She let the distinctive scent of the flowers waft through her, bringing lightness to the girl's lungs, previously accustomed only to the metallic smell of oxidized iron powder with hints of sulfur and an acrid touch, reminiscent of a mixture of rust, dust, and Martian "dampness”.
Or where Juno sees a garden for the first time right in front of her eyes, fulfilling her dream of one day seeing the flowers she always imagined in biology books. She just didn't expect to share this momentous occasion with Kiriko Kamori, the love of her life.

It's not really necessary; after all, nonbinary people remain valid in all the ways they wish to behave socially, whether demonstrating more femininity, masculinity or androgyny. However, it's about feeling good about one's appearance. Because of this, Clove didn't express fear about actually undergoing surgery, but they found themselves worried about the reaction of people in their social circle. Especially Deadlock, their girlfriend.

Riyo's eyes were, thankfully, closed as he put one foot and another in the bathtub before fully submerging himself. The water was cooler than he expected, prickling his skin with goosebumps. He drew his knees closer to his chest, settling opposite from her. They both made a clear effort to keep space between them... though their feet brushed now and then.
"See?" Riyo said cheerfully, hair drifting around her torso in the water. "Isn't this fun!"
"It really ain't," Zanka muttered.
