It was all Jamie could hear, the words didn’t even make sense anymore. Dating. Dating. Dating. Who was he dating? No one for so long. Not even a quick shag in a club bathroom.
“Roy.” He blurted out without thinking. A wave of ‘what’ went through the room, from Jamie to Roy, who mouthed the same word. What? “Roy Kent… is my boyfriend.” He clarified, because it was too late to go back. “We know how it might look, that’s why we kept it a secret, but… yeah. So not going back to LCA. Yeah.”
Then came the noises. The photographs. The eyes shifting from Jamie to Roy. And Roy’s shout, finally quieting the room.
“This…” Roy pointed an aggressive finger at them all. “is none of your business.” -
