Summary
What started as a humble Snowgrave epilogue became a massive novel-length series with enormous stakes and bonkers lore. I guess that’s just what happens sometimes. Should note as a disclaimer that I do not think this story is a good interpretation of the actual game, I wrote only what I thought made sense for this specific canon.

Summary
Peace has been restored to Megapolis after the harrowing defeat of the Lady Bone Demon, thanks to the Monkie Kid and his promiscuous friends. With serenity afoot, the demons have fled to the shadows with the idea of Immortals known to the mortal eye. Months have passed, with very little happening and the world at rest, until sudden danger lurks around the corner. Word begins to pick up on the local news of a mysterious substance called "Decay" spreading from island to island off the coast of China—seemingly turning whatever it touches to stone, killing life around it and which, seemingly, cannot be broken, no matter the holy weapon or the power of a vengeful god. Nobody knows of the source of this material, nor does anyone know how to stop the spread of it, causing a tangent of irked fear to fill the public's hearts of the unknown. That is, until one fateful and pouring evening amid April, when a duo of unexpected and unfamiliar faces—a tiny owlet with a deformed wing and a bipedal white feline—stumble into the humble abode of "Pigsy's Noodle Shop," determined to fulfill their quest of stopping the spreading Decay. One can only ask: what lurks in the unknown from the beyond?
