The closet was dimly lit by a thin strip of light seeping in from beneath the door, casting just enough illumination for him to make out the contours of her face. The space was cramped, forcing them to stand mere inches apart. He could feel the heat radiating from her body, smell the faint scent of her perfume mixing with the alcohol on her breath. For a moment, neither of them spoke. The silence between them crackled with tension as he loomed over her, blue eyes gleaming with possessive intent in the dim light.
"Who was that guy you were with?” He asked.
Lumine looked up at him, her expression a mix of amusement and irritation. The dim light caught the glint in her eyes as she crossed her arms. "Why does it matter to you?"
He leaned in closer and dropped his voice. "I didn’t like the way he was looking at you."
Or, Childe's jealousy flares up at a house party. He gets a perfect opportunity to stake his claim.
