Lucas slowly pulled away, He tapped his waist gently. “Now..who’s the better kisser? Me?..or Mike?”
Will gulped, pulling away, breathless now and then glanced at jealous looking Mike. “Um..both of you kiss really good.”
Will span the bottle. The bottle span on will. It was on himself. “What’s that mean-“
“It landed on me.” Mike said quickly before grabbing wills cheek and kissed will hard. Hungrily. Even delving his tongue against wills bottom lips, pushing past his lips into his mouth.
Will hummed in surprise but opened his mouth willingly before wrapping his arms around Mikes shoulders.
Mike actually let out a growl. He grabbed will by the hips, his long finger tips slowly pushing under wills sweater, feeling his hot skin.
Lucas now glared at Mike and will but with a challenging look.
Mike sat back, looking proud of himself for making will curse and he even winked at Lucas as he put his hand on wills knee, possessively.
Lucas narrowed his eyes down at Mike and put his arm around wills shoulders, possessively.
Two can play at this game.
OR
The party plays spin the bottle (amongst various other games 😉) but Mike and Lucas makes it a competition.

Summary
Mike, slipping into his thoughts, is subconsciously listening to the girls’ orders and ringing them up, but in his head he is entirely somewhere else.
In his head, Michael Wheeler is there with his best friend in California, and maybe it is Will that’s working in an ice cream shop with him instead of Max and they are giggling while they eat ice cream in the back of the shop on their lunch break. In his head, Mike and Will are still friends and they have been since that one day of kindergarten— the day Mike has deemed forever the day his life began — and they are closer than they have ever been. In his head, Mike never fucked up and let Will leave, and in his head they are conjoined at the hip. But that is only in his head.
An AU where Mike and Will sign up for a surfing competition without the knowing of the other and they find out later that they are pit against each other. Not only are they each other’s opponents now, but now they are naturally each other’s worst enemies.
And even now when they are meant to hate each other, they can’t help but fall in love again. Even when the tide itself is telling them it is not meant to be.
