    Spider-Man meets Deadpool- a seemingly stand-up hero who is totally not a mercenary, what?- one night on patrol. Cue shenanigans, tension, and irrational attachments. As heroes, they fight together and play their fair share of video games afterward. Deadpool takes care of Spider-Man when he gets injured and in return, Spider-Man provides good old-fashioned company.

    As a civvie, Peter's just your regular old professor with a girlfriend. Who he loves very much, mind you. He's a little overworked and lonely, but what can you do about it? That's just how it is when you're a part-time superhero, part-time regular ol' guy.

    And, okay, yeah. He totally develops this weird definitely not a crush thing on Deadpool. That's just part of the job.
