Unfortunately, Tony’s distinct voice cuts through the barreling train of self depreciation, “Hey kid, where are you? Karen sent me an alert telling me you went into shock, usually that means you’re bleeding out in an alleyway, hope we’ve moved past that,”
“Yup, I decided that rooftops are much more comfortable places to bleed out.” Peter doesn’t know why he jokes, he doesn’t even have the energy to sound funny, Tony probably believes him.
“Height of luxury, so it sounds.”

Summary
The last thing Peter sees is Tony's horrified, heartbroken expression leaning over him. The guilt in his eyes is almost worse than the burning pain that's taking Peter apart piece by piece. The world starts to go dark.
There's a flash of gold and green. For one moment, he finds himself standing amongst the Guardians and others. And then darkness again. It feels like blinking; an extended period of nothingness that ends as abruptly as it begins. One moment there’s nothing, the next there’s light.
“Easy,” a woman says. Her words are gentle, and carry a slight accent that he can’t place. "I'm called Wonder Woman. What's your name?"

Peter never wanted this. He didn’t ask for the entire team to breathe down his neck whenever he eats, or to insist that he reaches some absurd goal weight when he’s perfectly fine where he’s at. He doesn’t need to change.
He just needs to stop day dreaming about killing himself. It’s getting distracting.

There are lots of things in the world that Peter Parker knows how to do.
He knows how to make May smile when they’re behind on bills and she’s stressed beyond belief.
He knows how to code an entire AI system from the ground up.
He knows how to get Tony to sleep after workshop binges that last days, exactly which movie and which position curled up on the couch will make the process as quick as possible.
This is just another one of those things
Peter knows what to do. He’s done this before.
He closes his eyes. Wishes he was somewhere else. Waits for it to be over.
