Summary
The Deities have a funny way of apologizing, Harry decides. They don’t offer him a choice so much as they force one. Not as the Boy Who Lived, but as the grandson who never was.
Two years after the war, he’s tired, haunted by ghosts, estranged from friends, and uncertain what peace is supposed to feel like. When the Deities intervene, it’s not mercy that sends him back, but purpose.
