With her eyes still trained upward, staring into the seemingly endless void, Gura asks, “Oracle, are we alone in this world?”
The Oracle answers, softly. “We are.”
Gura feels something slam against her stomach, hard and heavy. The feeling spreads, chilling her insides, her heartbeat suddenly feeling unreal inside of her body. She looks away from the endless abyss above then, and focuses on Atlantis again.
Suddenly, Atlantis doesn’t look as big as it used to a moment ago.
