Summary
Preening is a popular venture among Heaven’s angels. It was born out of natural instinct, so it has been done since the Beginning of Creation. Preening has also become a social activity between friends. This is because a lot of feathers are rather hard to get when you’re alone, especially when you’re angel with more than two wings. So others may help you out. And in Heaven, it’s common knowledge that an angel letting someone else preen their wings is a deep act of trust.
One day, during the time of the month set aside for such preening, two friends are stowed away together in their own paradise. They clean each other in their mutual solitude, discuss their dreams, and wonder about the perfect existence that lies before them. And what could be more perfect for them than that?
