Summary
The Monsters emergence to the surface had changed the life’s of many.
There were some who had a hard time believing it wasn’t just a hoax, the only changes in their lives being the occasional glimpse of a Monster shopping at the local grocery store.
For others, the change was more severe.
Mimics. Humans whose soul reacted to the wave of magic that circled the world over when Monsters broke the barrier.

Summary
Omegas are not allowed to be Fatui agents in Snezhnaya. Childe hid his identity and pretended to be a beta for his entire life, until an emotional moment made him forget to take his scent blockers and revealed him to Signora. Instead of being executed, Zhongli offers to buy Childe from the Tsaritsa, which she accepts. Childe joins Zhongli's harem of omegas in Liyue, expecting to be abused and used like a toy doll. The respect he's treated with leaves him suspicious.
