    “Take it from the top. Tell me everything,” Stephen inquired as he took the seat opposite, hands steepled together and lightly pressed against his chin.

    “Got a distress call from Peter’s suit. Tracked him down but couldn’t connect to his AI. Arrived on the scene to find exhibit A: tiny child, tangled up in the Stark Suit. Kid says he’s Peter Parker and the scans confirm it. Short Stuff just got shorter.” 
     
    Or... Tony and Stephen go from snarky acquaintances to friends to idiot dads who clearly love each other whilst solving the mystery of a de-aged Peter.

    Tony Stark has rebuilt a world after Thanos snapped. Through blood and tears and suffering, he's rebuilt it--and he has Stephen Strange to blame for what he went through. He does so, hating the wizard with all his considerable capacity for passion, and Stephen does the same. It leaves them squabbling like petty children or perhaps mortal enemies when they're supposed to be saving the world, and it's getting in the way of productivity.

    So Tony's family comes up with a plan.

     

    “You’re gonna make a list,” Rhodey said. “Seven things you like about Stephen Strange.”
    Tony dropped the notepad like a hot potato. “What?” 
    Rhodey didn’t blink. “Each week.”
    "No. I refuse."

    Peter Parker doesn't exist. He erased his existence in order to save the multiverse. So it isn't Peter Parker who keeps visiting the Sanctum Sanctorum. It's Spider-Man.

    It's Spider-Man who stops to have tea. It's Spider-Man who likes to talk about music. It's Spider-Man who Stephen Strange doesn't understand. And with each visit from the nameless, faceless superhero, Stephen is getting more and more concerned.

    Playlist-themed friendship fic about Peter eventually reintroducing himself to Stephen after the events of No Way Home. Eventually. Slice of life with a low-stakes plot on top. Some comic book villains thrown in for the hell of it.

    Tony Stark knows how it feels to watch a world fall apart. Somehow, it’s harder to watch that world stitch itself back together. It’s harder to realize it takes a lot more than the return of the Dusted to make the universe whole again, more than Tony could ever hope to give or know. He tries anyway.

    He’s not the only one. Two weeks after the unsnapping, Tony gets a call. And a certain Greenwich wizard drops back into his life by force.

    The world’s remembering what it feels like not to end, and so are they.

    After his rescue from Ebony Maw, Stephen reflects upon his not-that-great-of-a-day thus far, and gets to know his travelling companions a little better. Both Peter and Tony end up surprising him in the process.
