Jimin squinted. There were flickers around the periphery of his vision, but he couldn’t make out the shape of the yokai he was sure were present. They felt powerful, and must be doubly so to cloak their forms from a trained onmyouji. Should he warn Jungkook to be careful?
Then he remembered the essence that had clung to Jungkook. Could Jungkook truly be haunted? Maybe that’s why he didn’t like their conversation, because deep down he knew what was happening. Jimin felt his fists ball up - it was the Park clan duty to stop things like this.

Can you please tone down your aura? Jimin wanted to yell across the room. He’d never met a soul that got under his skin like this.

Jungkook inhales slowly through his nose and his eyes widen. An earthy and buttery and sweet scent wafts warmly from the building. The aroma of dorayaki. His mouth waters.
He keeps pace in line to avoid chastising from the woman behind him. He’s no longer cold, although he’s not sure if it’s the press of the crowd or the warmth emanating from the open window of the dorayaki shop, or maybe the sunshine radiating from the man with the bright smile.

“What assistance do you need?” Namjoon asked as they settled into the couches on opposite sides of the center coffee table.
Seokjin looked at him with dark eyes that seemed to pierce Namjoon’s soul. After a long moment, in which Namjoon’s heart didn’t beat once, Seokjin ran a hand lightly across the hair falling over his forehead and let out a small sigh. With that, Namjoon felt the perfectly manicured mask slip off and the man sitting in front of him finally looked human. There was a small wrinkle in his forehead, a slight purse of the lips. Namjoon wasn’t sure it was possible, but Seokjin might have looked even more beautiful as a human than as the front cover of a magazine.
“I have a stalker,” Seokjin said quietly. His hands were now clenched in his lap.
