As if in an excuse, the blond grabbed for the half-eaten cup of gelato that sat in the other man’s lap, bringing a spoonful to his mouth and licking his lips as he focused his eyes back forward on driving.
He’d told Joseph that if he could manage to swipe the keys to one of Lisa Lisa’s convertibles, he’d show him his favorite spot. The conversation that had led to Caesar uncharacteristically goading Joseph into stealing from their respected instructor eluded him in his memory, but he couldn’t say he regretted it.
He just hoped Joseph liked it.

“You think that’s true?” Jack asked, tilting his chin up and glaring at Gabriel. Gabriel couldn’t resist leaning just a bit closer, pressing Jack harder against the wall to accentuate his point.
