He would still be wiping the tables with much more to do, but tonight, he’s almost all wrapped up, seated behind the cash register calculating his sales when he notices something from the corner of his eyes. He hasn’t yet pulled down the blinds, choosing to sit in the dimness of the late sun’s blanket, so he can see black dress pants wrapped around long legs, up into a black turtleneck.
The only colour he has on him is a long, beige trench coat.
