He’d also suggested it was that same giddy excitement that had caused the onset of the mysterious headaches Shou had been getting for the past few weeks; bad enough that he’d been finally forced to give up on assisting with clearing out the bases. Now it’s back to a normal life: or forward to a normal life, given his lack of one so far.
He’s going to be normal now. Wake up in the morning, go to school, get good grades, join an after-school club, make friends with people his own age.
