Summary
Once Peter learned what it felt like to be seconds from dying yet absolutely unable to do anything to prevent it, all his tingle ever seemed to want to do was overreact to every little thing so nothing like that happened again.
And now, after learning what it felt like to have every ability to prevent the loss of someone he loved and still somehow manage to fail, overachieving powers were no longer an issue for him.
They would have to actually be there for that to be true.

Peter Parker grew up in a life of pain. Everything he’s ever loved has been ripped from his hands again and again and again. The world was against him, he’s sure.
It’s fine though because he has Spider-Man to keep him afloat — the last thing he has in his life.
But then they try to take it away from him.
And Peter doesn’t care even if it is the Avengers or SHIELD or HYDRA trying to take Spider-Man away.
He’ll rip them apart if he has to because nobody, nobody will ever take Spider-Man away from him.
