Fair warning, however, is that it may change the flavor and texture of the finished meal in unpredictable ways.

There was a dangerous feeling creeping up inside of him, at the back of his throat and in the edges of his fingertips and wrapping itself tight around the vessels nearest his heart – a desire to trust.
Set moments before the end of the Prelude, Loïc muses briefly about what brought him to this point. More alarmingly, he begins to wonder about what comes next.

Summary
“Maybe I just want to see more of you, that’s all! Now, is that really such a crime?” asked Lupin, fluttering his eyelashes.
Zenigata was unmoved. “Considering your methods? It’s a felony.”
---
Thinking through the consequences to his actions has never been Lupin's strong suit. While scheming to get himself and his favorite inspector alone together, his idea for a Coney Island Ferris wheel date devolves into sky-high chaos when the two of them manage to get locked in a car at the top of the ride. The only question is how literal the phrase "falling in love" will end up becoming by the end of the evening!

Summary
Time and time again, it had been proven to the world that there was no planning for Lupin the Third, no computer algorithm that could take his aggressive weirdness and spit out ticker tape full of zeros and ones that gave you the answers you’d need to chain him up, lock him in a cell, and keep him there.
But Zenigata was not a computer. He’d spent the better part of the last few decades losing as many marbles as necessary to keep up with the stuff of legends, and being made of flawed, stupid, aging flesh had its share of advantages. He didn’t have to be predictable, either.
