Seeing Hyunwoo here felt like getting a drink of water after a long day of wandering in the desert. Hoseok felt like he’d been wandering in the desert for thousands of years. But at the same time, he was also scared to face Hyunwoo, scared of what his best friend – if Hyunwoo still thought of him that way – would think after seeing him for the first time in a decade.
But Hyunwoo didn’t judge. He just walked up to him and pulled him into a tight hug, an arm snaking around Hoseok’s back and the other in his hair and repeated, “You’re back. You’re back.”
