Summary
Beomgyu has a propensity for ruining everything good in his life. He tells himself he’s just beating it to the punch. Kill it before it kills you, right? But as soon as Yeonjun leaves, he wants him to come back. He’s never, ever wanted Yeonjun gone, and yet he can’t stop pushing when he means to say I need you.
It wasn’t always like this. He wants to go back. Back to late nights and cramming in a twin-sized bed and fearing the future instead of living it. It wasn’t always like this.

Summary
“Beomgyu!” the voice sings once more.
There is so much relief in that word this time that Beomgyu gets a feeling like the end of the world had just been avoided without his knowledge, or something equally grandiose. He would ask if he wasn’t so dazed, but as it is, he only manages a groan.
“Beomgyu, thank God...” The man breaths out, a bit more composed this time. He starts wiping his eyes with the back of his hands uselessly, his fingers trembling as they brush against his cheeks, “I thought you wouldn’t wake up for a moment.”
Or, Beomgyu wakes up to lost memories and a pretty stranger cryng his name.

Summary
Dangerous, Eomma says, whenever she sees Yeonjun chewing absentmindedly on his sleeve to keep his sharp teeth busy. Unnatural, Appa says, when Yeonjun's ears and tail shift with his emotions and his eyes glow yellow in the dark.
But then again, Eomma and Appa don't understand how it feels to have Yeonjun's fingers running through their hair or his soft breath brushing over their face; to be up in the trees and under the stars with him, lulled to sleep by the gentle rumbling in his chest as the second day of autumn slips into the third.
Beomgyu is eight and a half years old, and he may not understand very much about the world, but he knows how it feels to love someone like Yeonjun.
