Summary
Anton’s summer is already full: early‑morning practices, coaching beginners for extra cash, and making music in what’s left of his free time. Through a chain of church moms and mutual friends, he gets asked to coach a boy named Sohee for a few weeks. Sohee's summer is also full: clearing his game backlog, rewatching his favorite anime, and avoiding the sun. Instead, he ends up DMing a top-five national swimmer for one-on-one lessons. One Instagram message, a few painfully awkward sessions, and some terrible (helpful) advice from Wonbin later, Sohee’s “punishment” starts looking like the best part of his week.
or
Sohee's summer plans are put on hold by the inconvience of Park Wonbin's mother and her terrible influence.

Summary
It had been Eunseok’s idea to hook up the first time, though Sungchan couldn’t remember the specifics of it anymore. They couldn’t blame it on alcohol, when they were still underage and their older friends didn’t want to part with their own booze. When it happened a third time, they agreed to a sort of friends with benefits situation, just something to de-stress and have fun. Nothing serious.

Summary
It’s worse when he turns, intending to move around Eunseok to wet his body, but instead getting an eyeful of Eunseok’s back.
Sungchan swallows. It’s not that he’s attracted to Eunseok. His good friend. His pal. But it’s also that he is, and has been for quite some time.

Summary
“It’s the middle of the night. And freezing.”
“Got hungry after practice.” He gestures vaguely with the tub of Häagen-Dazs. The spoon is still in his mouth. “Sugar.”
“Can you stop blowing the spoon?” Sohee reaches for the spoon’s handle and almost socks him in the face.

Summary
“I’m saying you depress me,” Sohee lands a heavy hand on his shoulder, digging his grimy fingers in a little too hard. He’s going to smear chocolate stains into Eunseok’s office-designated dress shirt, and he only has enough of these for the days he’s here as it is. “You need a companion, hyung. You should get a pet.”
“A pet,” Eunseok repeats, brain still running his code, not able to read between the lines. “Like what? A fish?”
“No,” Sohee chuckles like he’s telling himself a joke. He leans in even closer, but doesn’t adjust his volume. “Like a hybrid.”
*✩‧₊
Or, Eunseok is a software engineer who has accepted his quiet, average life, and doesn't understand the hype around hybrids. That is, until he meets Wonbin, a quirky and captivating cat who steals his heart and flips his world upside down.
