“All right Byers, tell me, have you had your first kiss yet?”
Will felt his cheeks flush. He had somehow managed to avoid this question for nearly four years, but he supposed the good luck had to run out at some point.
“Come on, Max, you know –”
“Yes.” Will cleared his throat and tried to ignore the way Mike’s leg had stopped bouncing against his own.OR: During a game of truth or dare, the Party finds out that Mike was Will’s first kiss, and Mike finds out that he and Will are very much not on the same page about what that kiss meant.

“I know, okay? I know.” Mike ran a hand through his hair. “I’m just scared. I don’t want them to think of me like that.”
Will wrinkled his nose. “If you have a problem with being ‘like that’, then you need to take a step back and evaluate the situation. Because I hate to break it to you, but we’re both ‘like that’ whether you like it or not.”
Mike stared back unflinching. “That’s not what I meant. You think I have a problem with being queer? No. Of course not. Believe it or not, I love it. It means I get to have you.”
The earnest look in Mike’s eyes was enough to melt Will. So he tried to smile and placed his hand on top of Mike’s. “So what do you mean, then?"
“I don’t want them to think of me differently. Like, I don’t want to be their gay friend. Mike, the queer. I just want to be Mike.”OR: Will's ready to come out to the Party, but Mike isn't quite there yet.

Summary
Simon is dead; Baz is a wreck; Agatha is gone; and Penny will stop at nothing to get Simon back, even if that means inventing her own resurrection spell. One of the key ingredients is the ‘blood of an enemy’, so obviously she needs Simon's sworn nemesis, Baz. But one thing Simon failed to mention before he died is that Baz was not actually his enemy, but his boyfriend. If it means getting Simon back though, Baz is willing to play the villain one last time.
OR: The Mage killed Simon and everyone still thinks he and Baz hated each other.

“Wow,” Will breathes out, just on this edge of teasing. “You sound very confident about this.”
“Well,” Mike shrugs, swallowing hard in a desperate attempt to soothe his very, very dry mouth, “I don’t know why someone wouldn’t be interested in you.”
“Oh?” Will says, and it’s definitely teasing now, enough for Mike to feel himself turning warm, all down his neck and to the tips of his own – sadly unpatterned – socks. “Someone?”
“Yeah.” Mike nods. Oh, god. This is fine. “In a very arbitrary sense of the word. Just– people. Someone.”
Mike is approximately ninety-eight percent sure that his feelings are requited. That last two percent, however, has really been throwing him for a loop.

Lucas looks a little hurt. "But you could have told us it happened?"
Will resists the urge to bang his head on the table. Probably wouldn't help his case.
"I mean, I couldn’t really— it was—" He looks at Mike, gives a tiny shrug and a head shake, something subtle enough to be not picked up on by the rest, hopefully. A hail-Mike. A please find a way to help me out of this lie.
And Mike Wheeler, he does know how to answer a call.
"It was me," Mike says.
Will gets caught up in a lie about not being a virgin. Mike decides to help out. This surely will not spiral.
