But wait, where does Ted fit into all of this? Because that’s what she can’t shake, right? This funk she’s been in, it’s all because she hasn’t been able to get over the disastrous breakup. What Twyla would tell her is that it’s not actually about Ted. It’s about the kind of person she wants to be. So maybe Ted doesn’t fit into this at all.
