It's really random that I got YT rec about Finnick on a random day, then ofc I watched the book spoilers, and it got to Finnick & Annie, and then one comment hidden deep in the vid rec this fic about their journey, aand so here I am

When Kenma finally threw in the towel on their relationship, Kuroo was relieved. It was finally over and he didn’t even need to be the one to rip off the bandage. Unfortunately, the relief didn’t last long and acute misery took its place.
As he grapples with loneliness and regret in his new post-Kenma life, he decides to finally play a game that Kenma begged him to playtest while they were still dating. To his surprise, not only can he still access the game, but it turns out the game is based on the story of their relationship.
He plays through it and gets to suffer through their relationship beginning to end, his mistakes and what he once had maiming him.
What he doesn’t realize is that finishing the game may just bring Kenma back to him. Does he have what it takes to make their relationship (whatever form it may take) a success? Or is it doomed from the start?

This is one of the stories that baffles me how it doesn't have 1000+ kudos because of how well written it is. I was literally so shocked when I was reading halfway to learn about it! So so well written, it's like I'm reading an actual book!! I love everything about it, it's like I'm attending a free therapy through this story, one of the BEST exes to lovers stories I've ever read!
I cried so many times in the beginning until my pillow was stained with all my tears, and I can't stop reading it even though I had to work a few hours later, and it's the first time I finished reading a 200k fic within 2 weeks?? It usually takes me so much longer since I can't concentrate for long. Anyway, I love the characterization of Kuroo and Kenma, be it the good and bad, and I LOOOVE the character development!! It always blows my mind how I can just read masterpieces like this for free on the internet. I just love love love this story so much that it healed me too <3

My heart hurt so much that I literally felt visible pain in my chest and then I cried so much but at the end, my heart felt warm and light because of how beautiful the conversation was, especially the part where they were reassuring each other's love, oh gosh I could read this forever, I love them so much :'))

This is literally my most favorite of harumichi story in the silver millenium era, like idc it's canon for me, I always think of this fic whenever I think about silver milennium era.
It still amazed me and gives me goosebumps on how the author could wrote everything so well, the characterization, the plot, the meaningful & deep ancient love between the both of them, ughh it's just beyond beautiful!
How they're not immortal but their love is immortal and they're soulmates who will always find each other no matter what era and what universe it is. *dreamy sigh* I could still remember how immersed I was into the story that I didn't want it to end, it's like I'm watching an actual movie in my mind and pictured everything so vividly. If only I could draw T^T
