Kara doesn’t move. “The name?”
“Luthor.”
Kara hums. “I sure as hell do.”
Lena shifts slightly. “You’re not supposed to.”
Kara turns her head and looks at her with that maddening, grounded affection she seems to carry in surplus. “It sounds like a thunderstorm. Luthor. It’s badass. If I can ever get you to marry me, I’m using that name.”
“You’re ridiculous.”
“I’m serious.” Kara props herself up on one elbow. “It’s powerful and sharp and dramatic. I love it.”
“You love me.”
“I love both,” Kara says, dragging a finger down Lena’s sternum, soft but certain. “But the name is really hot.”
OR
Lena's exes have never quite understood her, so when Lena starts dating Kara and notices she's in no shape or form intimidated or scared by what she sees, by who Lena is, the Luthor magnate is baffled.
