Summary
It’s that time of year again– the Devildom’s Gentleman’s Demon is due to grow another year older– and would really be perfectly happy treating it just like any other day. As expected, the people close to him will have none of that, and are determined to make sure on this single day of the year, he can come first. Simeon and Solomon are well aware Barbatos will never be able to relax if there’s work to be done–so they have decided to combine their efforts, and give the butler a little less work to do. Unfortunately, despite their best intentions, Barbatos seems far from relaxed– and would really wish they– or, to be more specific– Solomon would realize the best thing he can do to help Barbatos would be to simply do nothing, and let the butler handle things the way he always has!

However, when French pastry dough proves to be beyond his skill level, the stubborn chihuahua finally allows a certain butler to come to his aid (with impeccable timing, thanks to a certain sorcerer having the sense to NOT go in the kitchen, and leave it to his pact mate).

A few days earlier the package had arrived at Purgatory Hall, a pair of mysterious and obviously magical gloves wrapped neatly in tissue paper with a handwritten note.
"You will know what to do with these."
Solomon had recognized the handwriting immediately and set about unlocking the secrets to his present. Days spent observing and experimenting had yielded very interesting results and possibilities. After pondering the message, he had indeed known what he wanted to do with the delightful gift.
OR: Solomon receives an intriguing birthday present from Barbatos and uses it to contrive some alone time for them by creating a snow day in the Devildom, along with discovering other, very satisfying uses for his gift.
