The ceiling starts merging with darkness. His eyes are about to close when he hears a quiet sound come from beside him.
“Psst,” Dream whispers, and George does his best to ignore it. “George, psst, ps—”
He snaps his neck to his right, where Dream lies on the bed, eyes open, twinkling amidst the dark. “What now?”
“I think you’re supposed to be up here, with me,” Dream continues.
“What?”
“Yeah,” he giggles. “Remember, we should keep up the act.”Or, Dream and George reunite during George's cousin's wedding celebration. Too bad there's a whole lot of pretending, cocktail drinks, and one big, impending truth.
