Summary
Glenn extends his hand carefully and concentrates. He’s done this more times since he’s gotten back to Earth than he’d like to admit. Nothing ever happens. This time, though, a small cold blue flame appears in the center of his palm and crawls up along his fingers. Behind him, Glenn can hear Robin hiss between his teeth in shock.
“Well, fuck,” Glenn says. “That’s not good.”

Summary
A few notes since canon is a moving target that we long ago lost interest in aiming at: Glenn is about 36 or so when this starts, and Nick is 13. It starts a few months before the soccer tournament and the portal. Glenn hasn't been kicked out of the GC3 when he goes to Faerun. He and the other dads get back to Earth after Ravenloft, because that’s around when I lost interest in the actual show. The rest pretty much explains itself.
The tags make it look more serious and dark than it really is - this is actually more of a story about trying to figure out how to adjust to domestic fluff when you've been living in an angst fic kind of world until now.
