Oscar stepped back, the distance left Lando feeling desperate; out of sorts.
“Wait, Oscar.” Lando reached for him. “Just–”
“Doesn’t matter.” Oscar said, turning to go to his room. “We’re teammates. Coworkers. Don’t need to worry about anything more,” Oscar said with a shrug. “Plane leaves in an hour. Don’t make us late again”.
Lando was left in the hallway, stunned and reeling from the interaction. He wasn’t used to this version of Oscar.
He couldn’t understand why he didn’t hate it.

Oscar’s almost tempted to let him finish, just to see what the sweet euphoria of release looks like on his face. “Show me you’ve got it in you, and I’ll think about it,” Oscar tells him.
Lando fights the restraints. “Fuckin’ wish I had something in me right now, Jeeeesus.”
