Summary
It’s dark out. There’s a crowd of people, up ahead. Buck’s curiosity takes him through the crowd, gently slithering through people to make his way to the front, and when he gets there he sees—
Buck takes a few steps closer, up to the edge of the barricade. “Where the hell am I?”
“Hope Street.”
Buck nearly jumps out of his damn skin. He turns to his left, confusion pulling his brows together. “Eddie? What are you doing here?”
Eddie just smiles at him. Nods out to the scene that has everyone’s undivided attention. When Buck turns to look, it hits him.
There’s a firetruck laying on its side in the middle of the street, a few firefighters on the ground around it, but there’s one trapped underneath it.
Buck.
“What the hell?” Buck can’t believe what he’s seeing, that’s—that’s him. “I don’t understand—”
“You will.”
*
With Buck’s life (yet again) hanging in the balance, he must rely on a familiar face to help him find his way back home by learning the deeper meaning behind his past experiences.

Summary
Buck’s playing with fire, he knows he is, but he’s a firefighter so it’s fine.
“You’re not being very careful,” Eddie murmurs, but he doesn’t really sound all that concerned. In fact, there’s a small curl to his lips. His eyes flick down to Buck’s lips and Buck feels his breath catch in his chest.
“I’ve never been the careful type,” Buck whispers, and then he’s leaning in and pressing their smiles together.
There’s a sound. Buck almost misses it completely.
The sliding glass doors open, someone is coming in.
Eddie practically shoves Buck off of him and Buck almost falls as he stumbles back, quickly wiping his mouth on the back of his sleeve. Eddie and Buck are only feet apart but it feels like miles.
“There you are,” Tommy says as he comes into the kitchen, all smiles.
Buck isn’t sure if he’s going to throw up or have a heart attack with the way his heart is thumping in his chest, attempting to break out and probably throw itself at Eddie’s feet.
“Here I am,” Buck says, but it comes out weak and he’s smiling awkwardly.
or, five times Buck and Eddie almost get caught cheating plus the one time they actually do get caught.

Summary
Buck says, “He dumped me.” It’s the first words he’s spoken since showing up on Eddie’s front doorstep—late at night, four-pack in hand, seemingly unfazed by his best friend opening the door in nothing but a pink button-up, socks, and tighty whities, Old Time Rock & Roll blaring in the background.
Buck says, “I thought this would be easier. I don’t know why, I-I just—I thought I finally figured it all out, had the answers y’know? But even Tommy doesn’t want me.”
Eddie’s eyes flick to Buck’s shoes, travel slowly up his long… long… legs, over the green shirt covering Buck’s bulky torso, stopping momentarily at Buck’s exposed throat, practically begging to be kissed, bit, licked, finally returning to those sad blue eyes.
Eddie says, “I can help you forget about him.”
Or,
Buck is newly single, Eddie is finally allowing himself to have the juice… metaphorically speaking.

Summary
“Someone really wants your attention,” Eddie notes as he enters from the bathroom, his eyes trained on the phone now in Buck’s hands.
“Yeah,” Buck says, and even he can hear the tiredness in his own voice that he himself isn’t even too sure has anything to do with the mind-blowing sex he just had. “Tommy.”
“Mm,” is all Eddie says, or hums, and nods like he figured as much.
“I should probably call him back,” Buck eventually says, reluctantly. He’s feels like an awful person. Oh poor Buck, has to call his boyfriend whom he’s cheating on to ease his worries that his firefighter boyfriend might have gotten hurt on the job, again.
“Now?” Eddie asks incredulously as he climbs back onto the bed on his knees and, well.
Buck’s mouth waters as his mind whirs with ideas, of how he and Eddie could continue their night before they inevitably have to part ways and go back to their own respective homes.
Buck is an awful man and a weak man.
“I guess he can wait a little longer,” he decides with a wicked grin.
or, just another Buckfidelity fic to add to the collection.
