Summary
Now that he's nearing two years of being Batman, he feels himself wearing thin. Sometimes he feels like he'll shatter just by the way Alfred's disapproving look scathes him, just by the way he receives a gentle and almost pitying kiss from each of his escorts before they leave to never be seen again.
He feels his strongest when he's beating someone's face in, when he's receiving blows like they're nothing only to reciprocate tenfold, or when he's fucking into someone who's inviting and acting entranced by him. Only then did he feel good, but everything after those moments reminded him of just how shallow and alone he really was.
Or, Bruce Wayne is pathetically lonely due to his schedule of being Batman and hires prostitutes to numb that feeling, and Edward Nashton is hard on cash and just trying to save up enough for his plans to save Gotham.
