Pausing at the edge of the roof, Jisung turned away, took a deep breath, and did his usual grounding.
Five things you can see: The sun setting over Seoul. Beautiful clouds. A plane coming in to land. The roof of the house a few minutes away. The Bang Tech Tower shining in the distance.
Four things you can feel: the fabric and metal of the suit, clinging to the body. The vibration of the ventilation systems. The roughness of the lips. The coolness of a spring evening.
Three things you can hear: breaking glass somewhere below. The hum of cars. A cat meowing somewhere in the alley.
Two things you can smell: polluted city air. Tteokbokki from a stall a block away.
One thing you can taste: Cherry lip balm stolen from Minho.
Spider-Man exhaled, smiled, turned around and shot a web, flying down the floors.
—Jisung knows how to deal with anxiety. Felix taught him how to ground himself long ago, before he was wearing a red and blue suit or had the weight of Seoul on his shoulders.
