Summary
Wei Ying lives peacefully with his father in a remote cottage in the middle of the mountains, hunting in the woods and trying to learn magic in secret. Wei Changze hates magic and wizards, a hatred he never explained to Wei Ying, just as he never told him why the teen can't go away. At seventeen, the usual "it's dangerous" is no longer enough. Wei Ying wants the truth. And one day the arrival of a wizard on a mission in Yiling will change everything.

"Are you okay?"Wei Ying blinked, “Are you asking me? You're the wounded one! ”
“ I'll survive. ”
“ You have to get someone to check you out. But what happened? ”
“ That monster bit me. Nothing to worry about. ”
Nothing to worry about? Where did that guy come from to say such a thing so calmly?
The other continued, “Which sect of him did you send here? You… ”
He couldn't finish the sentence, he bent to the ground, his sword as his only support. Wei Ying tried to get close to him, but just then he heard his father's voice scream his name.
"Wei Ying!"
"I'm here, dad!"
