Shaken by the loss, the Greil mercenaries divide themselves, with a small force escorting Princess Elincia to Bengion to avoid detection, and the remainder staying behind in the safety provided by the Gallian King.
But Soren alone cannot stay in Gallia.
(He is not alone though, and Mist, it seems, will have to remind him of this fact.)
Something of a continuation of and the story's all over you, but can be read on its own.

Shinjiro wakes up from a four-month-long coma with memories that stop being entirely coherent at the tail-end of middle school. This is, obviously, not an ideal situation to be in, but he doesn't exactly have a lot of options for fixing it.
The one possibility he does see involves a cheerful girl with a bright smile, and honestly, that just brings up even more questions.
