Summary
Dralvayn had been a scholar. He had been accustomed to a comfortable life, in a comfortable Telvanni tower, his only concerns lying with editors and publications and the deteriorating state of his marriage. He had been doing fine, all things considered.
His life upended in a fiery blast, he grew bitter. Cold. Paranoid. He became familiar with the practice of barely scraping by within an inch of his life, forever doomed to be looking over his shoulder.
But that was decades ago. Now, he wasn’t sure what he would become.Series

Summary
As they fought side-by-side, Zerith-var couldn’t help his wandering eyes in the moments of calm. Drals stalked a pace ahead of him, his focus as sharp and deadly as the blade at his side as they made their way through the old mine overrun by cultists and Daedra. He didn’t mind letting his tamiit take the lead when he was so ready to; and the fact that the fit of his armour was so flattering was a welcome bonus.

The adventures of Drals Arano, middle-aged ex-Telvanni trainwreck & Arcanist. To the Horrors I've Known and Loved is his main fic, and currently all else is either loosely canon to that, or non-canon. Oneshots in this series are vaguely chronological.

Summary
"There is...much to learn about this new world," he said diplomatically, and she snorted. He liked that, how easily her stern face dissolved into a laugh or a private grin. He thought of the alternatives: that an Inquisitor found him and cut him down as quickly as Azurah had made him rise, or that a cantor shrieked in terror and sough to exercise an evil that didn't exist in him. Instead, Herai al-Metat had walked into his tomb, found a corpse awake, and sought to figure out why without having to awkwardly explain to him that he'd been dead longer than her people had lived among the land he'd grown up on. There was, indeed, much he did not know about this strange and tumultuous time. "I want to know it all," he decided, and she smiled faintly.
"Let's get started, then."

Summary
Teldryn has met and seen a lot of people in his long and glorious career. He prides himself on the fact he can gauge a person's character at a glance. When he meets his newest client, a blind Bosmer woman, he can't help but wonder what brought her to Solstheim. Even more why she insists of going out into the wilds with nothing but the pack on her back and him by her side. First impressions can sometimes be misleading.

Summary
--
Sarel is not like other children.
First of all, he was adopted. Second, he is blind.
Third, (and while some may argue most importantly, though Sarel disagrees), he is Falmer.
--
"Found" by an Altmer researcher and scholar with the College of Winterhold, Sarel's existence has remained a relative secret, hidden behind the stone walls of the college. All of this changes on his eleventh birthday, when a mysterious stranger appears at the college doors asking after him.

Summary
A Morrowind story about visibility.
Iriel is a young, bitterly disillusioned Altmer scholar, struggling from one disaster to the next, never quite sure which is his worst enemy in life: the inadvisable men he keeps falling for, his own traumatised brain, or the universe in general. Or perhaps people in general. Things are so much easier when he's invisible to everyone, but it isn't a permanent solution to his problems. Is it? Is anything?
Includes wild headcanoneering of various NPCs and content from the Julan Ashlander companion mod by kateri.

Summary
After the harrowing events surrounding the Dark Heart and having left Verandis at the entrance of Bthar-zel, adventurer Alyce Jevereaux is learning what it is to be a part of the Ravenwatch family. With the conflict in Markarth over, she spends her days in there instead of returning to her home in Rivenspire, doing job after job -- all while sorting through her complicated feelings for her dearest friend, Fennorian. But what should have been a routine fetch and carry for the city's job brokers turns disastrous, and she is captured by a powerful band of mercenaries.
To compound her troubles, gifts from her newfound family give the mercenaries reason to think she is worth more alive than dead. Held captive and running out of time, Alyce can only hope those treasures draw the ire of the vampires of House Ravenwatch, who take care of their own.
