The purple-haired scholar looked as though he had a headache, pressing a hand to his temple. “I sent you a message three system-hours ago.”
“I didn’t read it,” Herta said.
Ratio looked even more pained. “He’s not my guest, but the Trailblazer's. That Trailblazer told me she asked for your opinion a week ago about whether an Amphoreus native could visit your laboratory, and you agreed.”

It doesn't help that everything and everyone he associates with happens to screams for scrutiny and attention.
His younger brother is somewhat of a celebrity of a private investigator and his coworkers are all conspiracy theorists. Then he starts to date a professor who turns out to be a cybercriminal and his brother's archenemy because of COURSE he is.
AU where Mycroft ACTUALLY holds a minor position in the government, but somehow ends up becoming The Government anyway and it’s not nearly all it’s cracked up to be.
