Summary
Koyang is a selectively mute young girl, that prefers the quiet and solemness of the forest and nature—in this case, Vayungan Forest, a mystical forest that has been rumored to be cursed. Little did the people of her town know, she went there daily, studying and learning the arts of forest spirits from Yangui, the forest’s guardian and the forestfolk.
But when push comes to shove, and the safety of Vayungan Forest is at stake, Koyang has to step up and face her dissociation with reality and her identity to protect the place that brings her the most comfort, when her hometown, parents, and “friends”, could not.
