Summary
Haru is an office worker who doesn't expect much. His manager degrades him daily. Everything changes when Shion enters the picture. What starts as a simple eating-out-together turns into something more complicated as Shion becomes more intense, pushing Haru to question his feelings.
Things seem almost perfect - but then the news bring a shock that shakes Haru to his core. As the lines between trust, obsession, and reality begin to blur, Haru must figure out how far he's willing to go before it's too late.

Tatsunami presses himself flush against Haru. Closer, and closer, until only the thin fabric of their clothes is what separates the warmth between them. Tatsunami doesn’t shift—not when he laughs at something someone else said, not when he reaches for his drink, their closeness is carefully preserved.
if Haru leans in, that’ll be proof they’re on the same page. If he pulls away? That’s just a reason for Tatsunami to start again from even closer.
Tatsunami is like a spark you don’t notice burning until the damage is already done. As long as Haru is beside him, that fire will only burn brighter.
Or, Shion helps Haru win the favor of their coworkers.

Summary
Those fingers, oh, those fingers. They can clasp around his neck and knead his esophagus. They can dig into his hips as though they own his flesh. They can tighten around his hair, push into his eyes, shove into his mouth, and he'd be none the wiser. He'd likely beg for it, even. But rather, they're clasped around his, and he decides he really should beg for it to hurt before it's too late. At least the pain would be easier to dissect than this synthetic, childish display of what both of them have to believe love is supposed to look like. And yet, if he didn't have it, he might have lost himself instead.
They're not good for each other, but they have nothing left.
