It appears that his husband has gained all of the weight for him. Binghe shares every craving he has, makes meals at the odd hours he demands them, and always prepares enough for two or three portions at dinner. It’s taken a toll on his waistline that had already thickened from marriage, making the once gaunt man a rather hefty father-to-be.
The protagonist's ungodly abilities actually followed through on his threat to get his husband pregnant, and they're both dealing with that in a completely normal way.
