    Contrasting lashes slope downwards, fanned in a way that hides his pupils from sight. A low and soft voice murmurs "Sakura Haruka. Nice to meet everyone." reflexive, quick - just like the strides he takes to the closest empty desk in their classroom.

    He immediately slumps over the little territory he's claimed in the new environment and Hayato can actually almost physically see the bubble around this new alien form in real time.

    Since then, teachers and students and townsfolk alike haven't engaged him because he’s unfamiliar and they’re cautious.

    Sakura-kun makes no effort to initiate any contact with anyone either.

    It's clear that no one is sure what to make of an invasive species that hasn’t been fostered by the terrarium they call Makochi.
