Summary
When he was younger, Touya made a promise to himself to always draw what his heart demanded. It was a promise made after his father burned his sketchbook because apparently it was "bellow his level". Shaking with anger and grief, Touya mourned the drawings and promised he wouldn't let it stop him. Promised that he wouldn't fit into the mold Endeavour was trying to force him into.
And forever it remained the promise that kept him going. Through a tortured, painful childhood, and an even more painful recovery of burns that bring tears to his eyes. He drew, because it was the one piece of himself that he could latch onto, have control over, the one thing that he would do his best to never let anyone change. It became his only weapon against this wretched, messed up society, as he drew the things no one was ever supposed to say, defiantly opposing the system.
Which makes it that much more frustrating when his stupid gay brain latched onto Hawks and demanded he drew a fucking cop.
Or, Touya is a tattooist by day and graffiti artist by night who tries to expose the corruption in society, and Hawks is the detective sent to catch him.
