   Hunter stood, heart beating out of his chest. The rain lashed at the walls, drummed on the roof. It was the storm. He knew it was the storm.
   Bang! Bang!
   …but maybe he should check. Maybe he should just make sure. Make sure everything was fine. Make sure everything was in order, as it should be, in it’s proper place. Make sure there was no reason for anyone to be angry. But he knew it was just the storm, and-
