Summary
In all fairness, Izuku really didn't think his life could get worse.
And then he's on the run, trying his damndest to make the best out it. Pretty hard to do when there's no way out and he's starting from scratch with some of the best heroes, including his uncle, on his tail. The sudden discovery of a quirk definitely isn't helping, but it's not like he can do anything else but keep surviving and hope for the best.
Right?
(In which Izuku can't die, is forced into living, and makes it everyone's problem. His loved ones disagree with calling it a 'problem', but that's their business.)

Keigo did not expect to find out Endeavor kept a four year old locked in a basement, revealed by his oldest brother. He didn't expect to ever become a parental figure. Shoto never expected anyone to love him, because he was a monster. An unlovable beast who would only hurt others. Touya didn't expect to actually find someone to care about him and his brother, to rescue the person he loved dearest. None of them expected to craft a little family, holding strong through every nightmare that came because of what Shoto was. None of them expected to ever have lives full of love, loyalty and devotion, and would NEVER allow one another to be hurt. Too bad it was so often out of their control.
Or in which Shoto is half ghoul with constant problems, Keigo had no idea he wanted a family, and Touya just wanted what was best for his abused baby brother.

Summary
Touya Todoroki was declared dead at 13, after being missing for several weeks. The last time anyone had seen the teen, he was a shambling mess with ugly purple burns scattered across his body, and his face was practically unrecognisable, disfigured and shaped by pain and torture and things the public couldn't understand.
Almost ten years later, there's a new vigilante swinging between Musutafu and Kamino (depending on the day), leaving brilliant sparks of blue and green wherever he goes, embers and ashen rain populating the twilight air. This hero has been dubbed "Supernova" by his online following, much to his quiet displeasure.
Even later that year, the truth comes out; Completely on accident. Now Supernova had his identity on full display for the rest of Japan to see, and they all came to his aid. They renamed him "Phoenix", the Starlight Hero, and helped him become the true hero he was destined to be.
All the while a young Izuku Midoriya watches him from afar, and strives to get into UA with or without a quirk. He may never meet the man, may never even catch a glimpse of his face, but Supernova was his hero, and especially after everything that came out.
