Summary
"Are you getting all of it?" Yue asks as she reads the back of the box dye. Sectioning her hair took an hour, and bleaching it feels like it'll take even longer. There's just so much hair. "Do you think Find My Friends is still on?"
"Yes, and also if you check now, it'll be the fifth time in ten minutes," Mai says as she unties a section of Yue's hair. Yue checks anyways. She can't blame her, it's not unreasonable to assume that Arnook would work his way around something like that.
"I'm sorry," Yue sighs, setting the box away. She brings her knees to her chest and hugs them tight. "I can't help it."
or: Things go south quickly and Yue decides it's time for an impromptu road trip. Mai tags along.

Summary
"It's a little late to be practising, don't you think?' a voice echoes across the rink.
Yue turns around. Mai awkwardly stands at the edge of the rink with her arms crossed. She's not sure how she could've got in without a pair of keys at this hour.
"I'm not creepy," Mai says defensively. She’s fidgeting. It's a strange sight, Mai never fidgets. "I just really needed to talk to you."
Or: Yue and Mai work things out

Summary
"I wouldn't worry about that, Ma'am. Your wellbeing is more important." Sokka quickly adds: "And the wellbeing of the tribe."
He is still young, she thinks. Young and full of hope. He has not committed the same mistakes I have, he can still say that. I cannot.
"Suki," she says, each syllable rolling off her tongue. "Yue and Suki would have been good friends."
“I’d think so too.”
Or: Three years after the Siege of the North, Yue comes home.
