Mike opens his mouth, then closes it. Too many questions crowded in the back of his throat. What happened to you this week? What are you hiding? Why didn’t you call me? None of them make it out.
Lucas, steadier, breaks the silence.
“Whose car was that?”
It takes Will a moment to answer. He blinks at the wall behind Lucas like he’s trying to rewind something in his head.
“I borrowed it,” he says finally.
Lucas tilts his head. “Really? From who?”
When Will Byers arrives at the WSQK radio station in a vandalized car none of them recognize, the walls he’s built start to crack. What slips out is a secret he’s been hiding in plain sight.

Summary
Ever since Will Byers left Hawkins and moved to Lenora Hills, California, he only ever felt empty. In a desperate attempt to feel something once more, he falls into the drug scene. Thus meeting his Cocaine addict boyfriend, James.
In order to save Will from his addictions and a potential overdose, Joyce sends him to live in the Wheeler household for a few months to get back on his feet. Can Mike save his childhood best friend from his addictions or is it too late?--
Ok with the stranger things hype coming back into play this is for some reason getting a bunch of attention so i feel the need to write this note. I wrote this story 2 or 3 years ago and it was last updated almost a year ago and has NOT BEEN UPDATED SINCE. It is INCOMPLETE!! However, if you're seeing this note and it says it has been updated recently then that means I'm finally completing it because I do plan on eventually one day in the distant future doing so and I will not be uploading until I've written everything on google docs bc i know for a fact i WILL procrastinate.
