Toge nods tightly. His very life is a stake here, and he can't mess this up. If he continues on this path, he'll be subjected to a life of misery until he's murdered by his so-called future husband, and he refuses to live like that.

But he was past the point of caring now, fueled by feelings that were giddy upon being freed, recklessly cheering him on with every step he took through the rain.
Back to Toge.
After being gone for months, Yuuta returns home to a flooded apartment. With nowhere else to go, he turns back to the boy he'd kissed one desperate night, then ran away from. The boy he so foolishly loves, even still.
Maybe, after all this time, those feelings aren't so one-sided.
