“I’m going to move on from you.”
“Yes, yes, I believe you.” Alastor hummed, thinking back on the supper at the hotel. Vox was nothing if not a liar; he truly didn’t understand whatever nonsense he was going on about. Or where Vox would be ‘moving on’ to, perhaps he’d build another eyesore of a tower.
“I mean it, Al.” Vox’s hands were now crossed against his chest.
Alastor mindlessly flickered his talons against the objects on Vox’s desk. “I’m sure, sweetheart.”
Or, the one where Vox decides to move on from the radio demon. Alastor doesn’t seem to understand the implications.

And, of course, Alastor laughs. He laughs, and laughs, and laughs. It’s mean and cruel, it digs in Vox’s chest and he still, pathetically, wants to kiss him so bad.
“I think you’ve completely lost your mind, sweetheart.” Alastor says in between giggles.
“Yeah, probably.” Vox responds dreamily, his claws twisting the glass cup.

“How could you forget?! I bent down on my knee, proposed with a shiny, huge diamond ring-which everyone would’ve been jealous of, by the way.” Vox rambles, starting to sound offended that Alastor would forget their make-believe marriage proposal.
Alastor snorts, “You did no such thing.” He shakes his head, as if the mere thought of Vox getting on his knees was unbelievable.
“Yes, I did.” Vox insists, because of course he would.

Summary
It really wasn’t important, and that was why Vox hadn’t asked. His business…acquaintance? Whatever they were was an enigma to him, another question he dared not ask, because Alastor was not a man who appreciated most of Vox’s questions.
But day after day, the more Vox realized that in his entire time of knowing him, Alastor was really only doing one of two things, the question nagged in the back of his mind until it was sometimes the only thing he could think about during their rambling conversations.
Besides killing people and hosting his radio broadcasts, what did Alastor even do?

In which Alastor teaches Vox how to dance and they both have feelings about it.
