TJ Kippen is just one of those mean kids. Walking the halls with Reed and Lester, TJ gets anything he wants at school, if not at home. But then Buffy Driscoll insists on being on the basketball team. And wherever Buffy is, there's her overenthusiastic, brilliant, stupidly cute friend, Cyrus Goodman.
