Summary
“Hey,” Buck greets him without looking up from his screen, “how do you feel about opening a joint bank account together?”
Eddie, who was mid-sip of his juice, chokes and almost spits it across the room. “What?”
“Yeah, I’m thinking it’ll just be easier than, like, transferring each other money every month for rent and the shopping,” Buck continues.
“… Right,” Eddie replies, wary. Bank accounts are a big deal—one of the only things his father taught him. Eddie has only shared a bank account with one other person, and he was married to her.
Well, come to think of it, the situations aren’t that different. Sure, he and Buck aren’t married. But they do live together. Plus, Buck is basically another parent to his son in all the ways that matter. Maybe it does make the most sense.
OR: the five times that Buck and Eddie navigate life of acting like a domestic married couple as roommates without actually being married, and the one time they realise they kinda are.

Summary
A year ago at that bachelor party, so drunk he was draped across Buck’s lap with his nose buried in all the intoxicating silky heat beneath the notch of Buck’s jaw, Eddie asked Buck what he smelled like to him.
It’s not a question you’re supposed to ask, but Eddie forgets the rules sometimes. Ignores them. Things like that don’t matter between him and Buck, they never have.
He’s still not sure what he expected Buck to say. Nothing, maybe, which he assumed was the truth, Eddie’s scent faded to barely echo of what it should be. But Buck had taken Eddie’s jaw in one hand, had tipped his head back so the line of his neck was bared to Buck like an offering, had stopped to scent him with his mouth still open, had said against Eddie’s sweat-tacky skin, so low his voice thrummed in his chest, You’re the sweetest thing I’ve ever met.
*
Eddie hasn’t gone into heat since he presented at seventeen. But living with an alpha who takes care of him for the first time in his life is about to change that.

Summary
“Did you know that kissing is good for you?”
Buck asks the question out of absolutely nowhere, and Eddie blinks as he tries to process the words. To be fair, it’s barely seven in the morning — on their day off, after Eddie’s night on the couch — and he’s yet to have the coffee that typically kicks his brain into action.
Also, what?
“Buck,” he says, rubbing at his eyes. “What?”
Or: Eddie and Buck start platonically kissing.

Summary
“Are those okay?” he asks, sweet and easy.
Eddie glances down. It’s Buck’s boxers, loose and comfortable and low on his waist. They’re light blue and nicer than the ones Eddie buys for himself. He smiles a little, looks up at Buck through his lashes.
“Better than okay,” he admits.

Summary
“Wow, you, uh—you really missed me, huh?” he jokes, and Eddie hums.
“You look good in a tiara.”
There’s a brief twitch of confusion on Buck’s face, but then he seems to catch on, reaching a hand up to the accessory, a proud, satisfied grin taking over his face.
“Oh, yeah?” he asks, sucking a breath in through his teeth as Eddie twists his wrist just the way he knows he likes it, simultaneously dipping his head to bully his face in underneath, sucking his balls into his mouth. “You, uh—you like being at my mercy, commoner Diaz?”
