Chapter 1: Oh deer...

Location: REDACTED
Time: REDACTED
Insane giggling filled the room. There are a bunch of vials with labels as a gloved hand reached for one. “My, my,” the voice said, “It seems we have a job to do.” A warp gate appeared and out stepped Kurogiri. “Here is the list of people, do whatever you desire to do with it.” Laughter again. “...” Kurogiri then bid the figure goodbye and left. The figure then put the vial in a syringe and licked the needle. “It’s off to work we go…” He then left the room.

Kurogiri returned to the base. Shigaraki looked at him. “You're back. You have my list, right?” Kurogiri handed him a sheet of paper. “...Kurogiri.” “Yes?” “This is the wrong list.” “...?” Shigaraki screamed at Kurogiri like a child who didn’t get the toy he wanted. “Shigaraki, please calm down. While this may be a minor setback, I may have given the incorrect list to him, but he can do our work for us. ”
“...Who’s HIM?”

Location : Jirou Residence
Time: 6 AM
Date : Monday
The screeching of the alarm clock woke Jirou Kyouka. UGH… She got out of her bed to get ready for her day .She showered, put on her uniform, and packed her bag. It was when she went down for breakfast, she noticed something was off. Both of her parents looked very stressed, and as she was about to say something her Mother interrupted her. “Oh! Kyouka… Good Morning… perhaps you should stay home today?”
“What?! What for?” Jirou asked. Her Father put in, “Perhaps you should just trust us on this one…” What happened? Her Father then sighed. “Check the recordings on the DVR, watch today’s news.” Jirou put on the News and eventually it said this. Many U.A. Students go missing. Oh god. Jirou looked horrified. Her mother sniffled a little, tears beginning to form as she felt sorry for her daughter.
List of Students who went Missing :
Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu
Katsuki Bakugo
Mei Hatsume
Izuku Midoriya
Fumikage Tokoyami
Shoto Todoroki
Tsuyu Asui
Kaminari Denki
Jirou couldn’t believe it. The likes of Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki, and Kaminari, missing? Something is just not right. She stood up, grabbed her bag, and rushed to the school despite her parents pleading for her not to go. She rushed into Class 1-A. Some desks were empty. Many classmates looked depressed. Mr. Aizawa then walked in. “I know some of you have seen the news recently and I wish to say, despite some students missing, we shall continue class as normal.” He hen instructed the students to get out their History of Heroes textbook. Jirou could tell everyone in the class had trouble paying attention. Halfway through the lesson, a scratching noise was heard on the door. Aizawa ignored it. Another scratch. Perhaps Aizawa doesn’t hear it…
*CRASH*
A large raven smashed through the window carrying a small frog as well as a green rabbit. The Raven flew over to the door and it opened. A large golden dog ran in as well a white and red cat. A tortoiseshell cat came running behind. The classroom was a panic. Everyone looked to Kouda who looked really nervous. Then the animals did something peculiar. They each sat in a desk. Correction, they each sat in a missing person’s desk. Jirou looked at the yellow dog and noticed a black lightningbolt on the side of its flank.
Shit. The raven sat in Tokoyami’s desk, the white and red cat in Todoroki’s, the bunny in Midoriya’s, the tortoiseshell cat in Bakugo’s, and the frog in Tsuyu’s.
SHIT
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kurogiri stepped out of his warp gate. Coming face to face with the insane figure once again. “Hello, after I saw what happened on the news, I knew this was your doing, and I regret to inform you that I gave you the wrong list of targets.” “That’s wonderful!” The insane man screamed. “I must ask why that is a good thing?” asked Kurogiri. “Well you see, my experiment didn’t go to well… I wasn’t able to kill any of the kids, You didn’t inform me that had such powerful quirks, and I had to flee before my medicine could work. Dammit, the research I could have done, ALL FOR NOTHING! No matter… they will be stuck the way they are for quite some time,”
“Whatever do you mean?” asked Kurogiri.
“In due time. Now, we must go on an animal hunt.”

“So… what now?”
Aizawa looked a little bit shocked, but still calm. He also must have figured it out. He then left the classroom.
Everyone then started to panic. Iida was going on a confused rant and how this shouldn’t be possible. Uraraka went over to Midoriya’s desk to check on him. The little rabbit looked nervous but is probably blushing because of how close Uraraka is. Jirou looked over to Kaminari who looked surprisingly calm, and he stared right back at her. Tooru was trying to pet an angry Bakugo despite everyone’s warnings. Bakugo hissed and swiped at her but missed. Tokoyami and Todoroki stayed at their desks, not wanting to be disturbed. Tsuyu hopped onto Mina’s desk, looking up at her. A little ribbit croaked out of the small frog.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, Aizawa rushed to Principal Nezu’s office to report the… situation. “Sir, we have a problem. It seems the missing students have seemingly turned into animals.” “Really?” the principal asked, “Well, it is reassuring that the student’s are safe.” “What should we do?” Aizawa asked. Principal Nezu responded, “It’s probably best if the public is not told about this. Notify All Might and the other teachers what happened. We could keep the students here, but I don’t think we should let them go back to their homes yet. This situation is a bit familiar…”
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aizawa returned to the classroom to find chaos.
“ALL RIGHT EVERYONE In THEIR SEATS!” Iida yelled to his fellow classmates. “Thank you,” Aizawa said, “It seems we have a small situation on our hands. I suggest that students that are animals either stay here in the school or go home with a friend. Make sure your parents are alright with you bring a ‘pet’ home, but the public is not allowed to know what happened. The Principal said that this situation may be dangerous, so tell your parents you found an abandoned pet, I don’t care, just don’t tell them what really happened. .” Uraraka volunteered to take Midoriya with her. Kirishima offered to take Bakugo home, saying it was the ‘manly thing to do’. Suddenly, Dark Shadow appeared out of Tokoyami’s bird body. “Tokoyami wants to stay at the school, but only if he gets to have a queen sized bed.” The bird cawed at its quirk, accusing Dark Shadow of something in which the quirk responded, “Just let me have this, okay? I don’t see why you get to lay in a nice soft bed all the time while I just stay inside you. No more, tonight we sleep on beds!” … everyone in the room wasn’t sure what to make of this. Yaoyorozu offered to take Todoroki home, saying he would feel at home with her other cats. Todoroki looked at her with a look of thankfulness. ...Jirou wondered whether or not to volunteer to bring Kaminari home. She always considered him a friend despite his idiocy and her teasing. She then raised her hand to offer to take Kaminari home. “Alright, everyone has a place to go. Iida, please check on the other classes to see if any of the students that are animals need a place to stay.” “Yes,” Iida said, “I am glad to take any student home with me, as we are all students of UA, and they need our help.” Aizawa nodded. Iida then left the classroom. “Alright, now, once Iida returns, we shall continue our lessons. Iida then returned with a small pink energetic dog. “...” he was silent. “I shall be taking Miss Hatsume with me to the Iida home.” Hatsume kept yapping trying to squirm out of Iida’s arms. Uraraka chuckled, “Knowing her, she probably still wants to keep inventing her ‘babies.’” The pink dog growled at Uraraka. Lessons continued as normal, despite what has happened. The only abnormality was Iida trying to calm Hatsume down, and telling her just to listen to the class.
The day ended, and Jirou asked Kaminari, “Ready to go?” To her surprise the dog nodded. “I guess it makes sense you can understand me, you did speak before, but it is a little jarring to have a dog nod.” Kaminari huffed playfully. On the way home, they stopped at a pet store to pick up a collar and leash. When Jirou put the collar on Kaminari he looked insulted at her. “Oh be quiet, this is just temporary until we can fix your body.” Once again, Kaminari huffed. They arrived to her house. “Hello?” “Kyouka! Thank goodness you’re alright!” her Mother ran to hug her. “Sheesh mom, I just went to school. Anyway I have an important question to ask you. On my way home I found an abandoned dog, there was a sign that said….”Jirou paused having to think of something. “ Please take care of this dog, he is trained and quite gentle. His name is…” She looked outside to Kaminari, “Sparky. I already bought him a collar and leash, so my question is, can we keep him?” Kyouka’s parents looked at each other. “Y’know kid, having a pet is a very big responsibility, are you sure you want to keep him? You do have your hero school to worry about, as well as taking care of this pet. Do you think you are ready?”Her Father asked. Jirou responded with determination, “Yes.” Her Father nodded. “Well? Where is the new member of the family?” She opened the door to find Kaminari walk inside. “Hello there, I’m your master’s Father. Welcome to the Family!”
Kaminari didn’t look like he liked Jirou being called his master.
Kaminari Huffed again.
Chapter 3: The Hell?
Notes:
New Chapter! Yay! :D
Haven't been able to work on this lately, as I have been busy, but today I was free so I thought I would update it.
Here's Chapter 3.
Chapter Text
To say things were going smoothly in the Iida household, would be an overstatement.
Hatsume scrambled throughout the house exploring everything excitingly. It’s not everyday you get to stay at a Pro Hero like Ingenium’s household. Perhaps this would look go on a resume? “Hatsume, please calm down. Be Careful! You might knock something over.” Iida sighed. He knew what he was signing up for when he offered the girl to his house, but he felt is was his duty to look after her while she was in this current state. A loud crash sounded through the living room, followed by a small yap. Still, this was going to be difficult.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jirou was setting up a bed for Kaminari consisting of pillows and a blanket. She told him to wait in her room while she worked on some homework. Kaminari laid down in his makeshift bed. It was nice of Jirou to let him stay at her house until we can get this… all figured out. Kaminari tried to wrap his head around the situation. He remembered a sharp pain in his arm, but after that he remembers waking up as a dog. Kaminari though best not to think to hard. Things would probably turn up alright in the end. He looked at the window to see the setting sun. He felt a sudden urge to keep staring at it, though he couldn’t place why. After a while, the sun had fully set and the moon was rising. He fult a sudden stab of pain in his arm, or what would be considered one on a four-legged animal.
Something was happening.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hearing something bump upstairs, Jirou decided to check it out. Probably Kaminari just being an idiot, she told herself. She finds her room empty but her closet door was shut with the lights on. “Kaminari?” Her parents were grocery shopping, and felt like she could use his actual name, since they were not around. To her surprise, a voice said, “Um, hi Jirou… Please don’t come in.”
“Y-you can talk, of course I’m coming in.” She opened the door. Big mistake. There he was. Kaminari, not an animal but human. The only downside was that he was completely naked.
She quickly shut the door. “Oh, god. Sorry, Kaminari.” Her face was complete red. She could help think, The idiot does have a nice body. She scolded herself for thinking that. “Let me get you some of Dad’s clothes.” And with that she took off.
Some time later, Kaminari stepped out, fully clothed. “We agree to never talk about this.” “Agreed.” “So…” Kaminari started. “So.” Jirou concluded. “What’s going on?” she asked, “One minute you’re a dog, the next you’re normal. I leave for a couple of minutes…” “I don’t know! All I remember was feeling a sharp pain in my arm, and suddenly I’m human again.” “Let’s check on everyone else.” Jirou suggested. She then started to call Momo. She would know what to do. To her surprise, a familiar voice picked up, just not the one she was wanting. “Hello?” said Todoroki. “Todoroki! You’re also back to normal.” “Also?”asked Todoroki. Kaminari yelled into the phone. “Hey! Nice to see you’re not a cat anymore. I would feel bad if I started to chase you all of a sudden.” “I see Kaminari is also not an animal,” Todoroki said. “Where’s Momo?” asked Jirou. Todoroki replied “Ah. She had a very stressful day taking care of me, as well as doing her studies. She is currently sleeping. It is actually quite adorable.” Kaminari snickered, “Well, it seems she has a guardian angel to watch her while she sleeps, just try not to sleep with her.” And with that, Jirou hung up, face red in embarrassment.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To say finding Hatsume human again was expected would be a major overstatement.
What worse, is that she was naked. Iida quickly fled the room, and returned with a blindfold and a pile of clothes. “My apologies, Hatsume, I didn’t know I would find you like this.” She took the clothes and put them on. She didn’t say anything, and Iida though that she was mad at him, as she sudden left for the kitchen. He then got a call from Jirou. “Hello?” “Hello Iida. We were just checking on Hatsume.” “She’s fine I believe.” He walked to the kitchen to find Hatsume eagerly tinkering with their toaster. “HATSUME! I understand that you haven’t been able to invent, but please don’t damage the toaster!” Hatsume cried “Never!” and proceeded to remove parts for the utensil. “I’m going to have to call you back,” Iida said. Before walking over to the girl.
This was going to be difficult indeed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Everyone calmed down, and eventually settled into their beds. Jirou moved Kaminari’s bed into the closet, so her parents couldn’t see him. They said their goodnights and went into the land of Dreams.
She woke up the next morning to find Kaminari a dog once again.
What the hell was going on?
Chapter 4: Content, yet not

Chapter Text
Jirou ran down the steps with Kaminari following closely behind. Both of her parents were sitting at the table. “Hey Kyouka, there’s something we’ve been meaning to ask you,” her father said. Kyouka had a mini heart attack. “We were wondering if we are going to neuter Sparky,” he said looking over to the dog. Denki quickly went to the man and started aggressively barking at him. “It seems that he’s against it.” Jirou quickly joked causing her friend to give a dirty look at her. “I’m sure it’s something we don’t have to worry about,” she checked the time, “Gotta go! Bye!” She exited the house with the golden dog following behind.
They had arrived at U.A. It seems the others had already informed Aizawa of what exactly had happened. Jirou looked over to see Yaoyorozu holding Todoroki in her arms. Todoroki looked comfortable and surprisingly relaxed. Jirou smirked and Kaminari gave her a knowing look. “All right, everyone sit in their seats.” Aizawa commanded. Everyone did as they were told. “After a meeting with my superiors, we have decided for student safety, all students are to stay in the dormitories. You are not to leave school premises. A letter will be sent home to your parents, those of you who were not reported as missing. You are allowed to write your personal letter, but it should be completed by 7 p.m. tonight, or a letter will be sent for you. The school board has also decided to cancel all classes until this situation can be fixed. That is all. Dismissed.”
Everyone wasn’t sure how to respond. Classes canceled until who knows when? While it would be nice to have a break, it’s not like they could go anywhere. “Well, perhaps we should go to the dorms and create a plan.” Yaoyorozu suggested.
Noises from all sorts of animals were filling the chamber. Cages were lined up contain said animals. A gloved hand came down hard on the table, creating a loud slam. The animals were quieted. “Those heroes have done well in hiding those kids.” He downed whatever liquid was in a bottle without a label. “Most likely, their in UA, but its not like we can just waltz right in.” He sighed. He looked over to one of the cages, and stroked his chin. Inside was a silver furred, wolf-like dog, he seemed to be mad at the one behind his current appearance. The insane figure laughed and asked, “Hmmm… You may be of use. After all, you are a student, no?”
Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu looked mortified.
Todoroki could get used to this. Sure, he was a cat, but the longer he could stay away from his father the better. Though, he was missing out in visiting his mother… He wished he could send something to tell her he was okay. He reminded himself everything has its pros and cons. Lying on the couch, he was suddenly at attention when Yaoyorozu sat down next to him and started to pet him. He wasn’t used to this, but, he liked her touch. Her hands felt soft. Yaoyorozu seemed to be suddenly aware that she was petting Todoroki. “Oh! Sorry, I wasn’t thinking, and you seemed so relaxed, and-” Her face was bright red while rambling. Todoroki immediately thought she was acting like Izuku. Todoroki moved his head under her hands, as if giving her the go ahead, and that she could pet him. Like he said, he could get used to this, especially if it meant having Momo’s attention.
Chapter 5
Notes:
Okay, another chapter down.
I'm finally cracking down and making this announcement: What Could Paws-ibly Go Wrong is going to take top priority out of all my ongoing writings so far. That means everything else is going on a temporary hiatus for now. But do not worry! I will eventually get back to them.
Now, with that out of the way, a new chapter so:
Enjoy, or don't, it's your choice :D
Chapter Text
The students were gathered in the main hall, not sure what really to do in their free time. Some napped, others read a book, to the best of their abilities, or some simply waited. Hagakure suggested watching a movie, specifically, 101 Dalmatians as a joke. Bakugo didn’t find it all too funny and hissed from across the room. “Dude, you know no one can take you seriously in that form, right?” Sero had asked the currently tortoiseshell cat. Said cat huffed, gave Sero a look that told him, ‘Just wait till I turn back,’ and knocked off a water bottle sitting on the counter. “You look like a cat, and now are acting like one too,” Ashido observed from the couch. If looks could kill.
Hagakure grabbed the remote to see if she could find anything. The evening news came on. The current headline said, “REPEATED BREAK-INS AT MISSING STUDENT’S HOMES”.
An assortment of noises were raised as they saw that headline.
The broadcaster had played an interview with one of the residents from the break-in. A golden blond woman with a black streak was interviewed outside of her home. Kaminari recognized the person immediately. His mother.
“From what I understand, Mrs. Kaminari, you heard a crash in your son’s room, but when you arrived, other than a few knocked over items, everything was the sam from what you can remember?” “Yes.” His mother sounded devastated. “But,” she started sounding determined, “This could mean my son is still out there.”
Kaminari started to whimper, something he didn’t even know he could do. “Turn it off,” Jirou commanded from next to Kaminari. The command was followed. Jirou then wrapped her arms around her friend, to which he nuzzled closely in return. He strangely felt at peace.
As soon as the sun went down, Kaminari felt that sharp pain in his arm again, and found that he had once again, turned back to his normal form. Luckily, he was in his dorm. Unfortunately, Jirou was listening to music with him at that moment. Once again, he fled to his closet and returned with a basic shirt and some shorts with a red face. “So,” the electric user began. “You’re back to normal,” Jirou observed. “Really? Hadn’t noticed.” “Har har. You turned back at this time last time too. Right as the sun went down. Maybe you’re like some anti-werewolf.” “You’re guess is as good as mine.” Kaminari looked down at his body, and then looked as if he remembered something, then had the same look in his eyes when he watched the news. Jirou sighed and said, “So, I hate to bring it up, but the news.” “Yeah… I kinda hadn’t thought about what my mom might be going through. God…” Kaminari paused for quite some time before, “I have to go see her.” “You can’t, you heard what Aizawa said, we’re not allowed to leave the school!” “But... “ “Once we solve this, you can go back and see her.” Kaminari suddenly bursted. “Everyone keeps saying, ‘Once we solve this’, but what if we don’t? With the amount she’s lost already, she can’t afford to lose me too.” Jirou looked confused. Kaminari sighed, “My mom lost my dad before I was born. She keeps saying I look like him, though I do have her hair. She doesn’t like talking about it.” Jirou and Kaminari fell into silence for quite some time. Jirou thought of a potential way to lighten the mood. “So, that little black streak in your hair isn’t dyed?” “Nope, completely genetic. On my mom’s side.”
The two laughed before returning to what they were doing. Listening to music. Jirou thought that situation may be weird, but at least it brought her seatmate closer to her. Kaminari looked over to her and she suddenly felt something...weird. Something in her chest. Kaminari was thinking the same thing, when a loud knock was on the door.
Uraraka walked in. Her face a little pink, ‘Must be from when Midoriya changed back’ the two simultaneously thought. “Guys! They found Tetsust…” she got tongue twisted on his name. “They found the guy with the similar quick to Kirishima outside.” The two exchanged looks.
“Everything seems fine.” Recovery Girl told the Class 1-A and 1-B teachers. “He’s just currently unconscious. We can ask questions when he wakes up.” The two men left the room.
What recovery girl had forgotten to notice, was a small, beeping, device, lodged within Tetsutetsu’s head.
Chapter 6: Explosions, Explosions, and a third
Chapter Text
Bakugo is pissed. More so than usual, with the changing forms and what not. And after today's little incident on the couch, he's been looking for an outlet. Luckily, he came across just the right person.
"Sparky, train with me." the boy ordered, a devilish smile crossing his lips. "Really, do I have to? After all, it's night, and quite late, and even though we don't have any classes, I still need sleep. Not to mention-" the electric user rambled, trying to find an excuse. "There's no way in hell you're getting out of this. I need to practice against ranged opponents, and your discharges are perfect." "But wouldn't Tokoyami be better? You saw him in the sports festival..."
"But I already fought the bastard. Come. Spar. Now."
Kaminari knew either way, he'd have to deal with Bakugo's explosions.
'Why me?' Kaminari thinks to himself.
You could hear explosions and a certain electric user's screams throughout most of the building. Hatsume would say it was a bit distracting, but with what was currently happening to her body, she couldn't care less about what was going on in the background. She needed to invent something. Iida had watched her like a hawk back at his place, and she was limited to what she could do, but here, she could do what ever she wanted. Speaking of Iida, she had heard of what happened to Ingenium, which she later found out was close family to Iida, brothers in fact, perhaps she could make something for him as a gift for letting her stay at his place. She hadn't seen the older Iida anywhere during the short time stayed at the residence, so she assumed he wasn't there.
'But what to make?' the inventor thought to herself. She got to making blueprints. That's when Iida walked in. "I figured you be in here. You can't sit still for long, can you?" "In business, you can't afford to lag behind. So, whatcha need?" "Nothing, I simply came to check in on you. I am also here to tell you to not spend all night in here, you need to get rest." "Eh, I can sleep during the day." Iida starting making motions with his hands. "But your sleep schedule may be thrown off, hindering your performance. And when we fix your state, it could seriously affect your schoolwork. As class president, I cannot allow you to stay up all night tinkering." ".... But we're not in the same class." "Then, I am telling you as a fellow student and friend."
Friend. It felt nice to be called that.
Hatsume sighed.
"... Fine, but if I fall behind, you're to blame."
Iida looked pleased. "Excellent."
"By the way Iida, I heard about your brother," Iida froze. "I was wondering if you'd allow me to make him something..." she paused, "As a gift, for giving me a place to stay."
"That's... very considerate of you Hatsume, but it's not my place to stay. But I can get a hold of my brother, seeing what he wants."
Hatsume got really excited. "Can I ask him?" she asked with a bright grin on her face. "I-I don't see why not." She celebrated her small victory. Talking to a smaller pro hero, one who has his own agency and takes in multiple sidekicks? This was an opportunity for Mei.
Iida handed the inventor the phone. "Hello, Tenya? What's the occasion?" "Hello, Mister Ingenium. I'm Mei Hatsume, a fellow member of UA and an inventor. Iida gave me his phone so I can have an important discussion with you." "Ah, so my brother's finally gotten himself a girlfriend, eh?" "No, sir, we're not dating." Tenya Iida's entire face flushed at that remark. "Sir, I had recently heard what had happened, and might I say, it is a tragedy that we lost a valuable pro hero." "Thank you, Miss Hatsume." "Sir, your brother graciously allowed me to stay at your residence when some.... complications came up. As a thanks, I was wondering if I may build you something that will give you use for your legs again?" Tensei chuckled through the phone "That is very gracious of you Miss Hatsume. I've given up hero work, and have given the hero name Ingenium to my brother. As much as I want to walk again. I want to stay this way as an example. Remember, regardless of quirk or social status, anything can happen to anyone." Hatsume grew silent.
"...How about a modified wheelchair?"
"Sure kid, I appreciate it."
They both said their goodbyes and hung up. Hatsume took a deep breath in, and exhaled. "ALRIGHT, TIME TO GET TO WORK!" Iida was startled at the sudden outburst by the girl.
The girl began hungrily tinkering with metal scraps and wires for minutes on end, until the project began sparking.
BOOM
It exploded.
"All right Miss Hatsume, it's time for you to go to bed. You can work on it in the morning, and I'll even help if you want it."
Iida ignored every protest from the girl to not leave her babies just yet.
He would drag her to her room if need be.
In the nurses' office, a silver-haired student was coming to.
"Ah Tetsutetsu, I see you're awake, let me call-"
"YOU GOT A GET A PRO HERO HERE, NOW!" the boy yelled.
The small box stopped beeping and black mist came out of the boy, followed by an explosion.
Chapter 7: Another Raid
Notes:
Hey everyone! Another chapter is here! I wanted to get this out on Kaminari's birthday, but something came up. Another reason I didn't get this out earlier, I was a bit nervous and felt like I was rushing the action, but I'm making a commitment.
I also found out that Jirou's parents have official names. So... yeah. I'm gonna keep using the names I gave them. (See Chapter 2 Notes). When I finish this, and if I ever go back and maybe rework some stuff, I may retcon the names, I may not, I dunno.
Anyway, here's another chapter, so enjoy, or don't, it's your decision.
:)
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
A blackish-purple misty portal opened up and out stepped Kurogiri, along with a few other villains. Infiltrating UA so soon after the USJ attack was risky, but Kurogiri knew when he first started this path, he would have to take risks. His only fear was for Tomura Shigaraki. He couldn’t just leave him at the bar, and THAT man did request to bring other villains whose quirks counteracted the students’ that he needed for… whatever the insane fucker was doing. So, he brought Shigaraki along. ‘If he gets caught, All for One is going to kill me.’ the misty man thought.
“Ugh… why do I have to tag along?” The blue haired man asked. “Think of this as a learning experience, Tomura Shigaraki. You must know that every quirk has it’s opposite.” Kurogiri explained. The everso polite villain turned to the other villains in the room looking at the carnage caused by the explosion. A young, silver-haired boy was lying in a pool of his own blood and the Pro Hero, Recovery Girl slumped against the wall. “There is no time to waste. Each of you were called her for a purpose. Every one of you has a quirk that counteracts a target’s quirk. You were given images of said targets and are to bring them back here. ALIVE. As for any other student else that gets in your way, our employer said he needed a few test subjects, so as soon as they see you, consider them a target. No one is killing anyone on this mission,” Kurogiri explained to the other five villains. Shigaraki whined a bit. “Tomura, the reason for no slaughter is to demoralize the heroes and the public even more. There has already been a few “disappearances,” more would cause panic. Listen, Tomura, I can explain later, but we’re on borrowed time. It was different in the USJ center, but this is the main building, Pro Heroes are everywhere.” With that all the villains were quiet. “You know your targets, do not interact with any pros, and no killing. Dismissed. You know what should happen if you fail.”
The explosion sounded throughout the whole building. Most of the students of Class 1-A were in their rooms. Iida, however was outside of Bakugo’s door. “The hell do you want, Four Eyes?” “One, please learn you fellow classmates’ names. Two, please keep down the noise on your quirk, people are trying to sleep.” “The hell? That wasn’t me.” “Really? My apologies then.” Bakugo slammed the door shut. ‘If it wasn’t Bakugo, then…. No… It couldn’t be.”
“I thought I told you to get some rest,” Iida yelled as he walked into the support class’ workshop. Surprisingly, no one was in the shop. ‘Hatsume is off of the suspect list. Could it be a quirk of an upperclassman?’ “Iida?” Iida quickly turned around to find Mei Hatsume, clad in pajamas, standing at the doorway. “Ah, Miss Hatsume, I came in here thinking it was you who set off that loud explosion.” Iida paused for a moment, then started, “Wait, I told you to go to bed, what are you doing up?” The boy started to wave his arms. “Jeez, I just came to check to make sure to see if it was my babies that caused the noise.” She checked over her work. “Hmm. They’re all offline. Hey, there’s a guy in your class that has an explosion quirk, right?” “I asked him. It wasn’t him.” “Really? Well then…”
A third voice chimed in. “Hate to break this up, but I’ve got a job to do, and I’ve got limited time.”
Shouto Todoroki exited the training area and was on his way to the dorms. All that could be heard was his footsteps as he was lost in thought, until he heard it. As soon as he put his foot down, another step could be heard. The hall grew silent. Todoroki looked over his shoulder to find no one there. He turned around and almost took another step to hear a sigh of relief. Right behind his ear. He shot ice out of his body behind him. “Looks like your senses are sharper than Kurogiri thought,” the voice sounded from above him. Todoroki looked up to find a man with a chameleon head, walking on the ceiling. He shot out more ice, but the man disappeared and appeared right behind him. “I’ve been hired to bring you in.” The man smiled. Shouto went to fire his… well fire, but thought, ‘Shit, the building could catch fire.’ “I recognize the name Kurogiri. You’re with the League of Villains.” “Me? No. I’m just… a friend.” Todoroki shot out a much more miniscule version of him glacier attack. “Great. Now there’s a large blockade in the hallway,” the chameleon man complained. Shouto turned around to find the man behind him, once again. Shouto landed a swift punch to the gut. The man exhaled a bit. “Heh. Nice one. But it goes to show. You rely too much on your sight.” the man disappeared and Shouto felt something hard connect with his gut. The man appeared again. “Tell me kid, what do you know about Chameleons?” “They’re lizards known for their ability of camouflage. You seem to have camouflage to the extent that it looks like you’ve disappeared.” “Eh. I’ll give it to ya, but one more thing before we wrap this up.” He vanished again. Shouto preemptively turned around to face the man. “A chameleon’s tongue can launch multiple times larger than the force of gravity.” The man still stood in the same spot he disappeared with his mouth open. Before Shouto knew it, the tongue collided with the back of his head. There was ringing, a flash of a black ponytail, then there was darkness.
The lights flickered before blacking out in Jirou’s room. She turned on her phone’s flashlight to find the dorm hallway was also blacked out. ‘Kaminari practicing his quirk again?’ She knocked on the boy’s door. “Yo, Sparky. Try not to short circuit the whole building along with yourself.” No answer. ‘Is he asleep?’ The door handle was unlocked. ‘It wouldn’t hurt to check on him,’ she thought. ‘You sure you just don’t want to see him sleeping?’ a voice inside her head asked. She ignored it. She opened it to hear and see sparks flying through the air. With the sparks illuminating the room, she found two figures. One, a boy with a black lighting streak in his hair. The other, she wasn’t sure who he was. His entire body was some bronze color, as was his outfit. “JIROU GET OUT OF HERE!” With that an alarm went off. “Attention students, an unknown presence has been detected. Please report to the cafeteria immediately.” The automated, monotone, voice kept repeating it’s statement. Kaminari discharged at the man, only for nothing to happen. Sparks flew off the man’s body, and he sent a bolt towards Jirou. Jirou expected pain to shoot through her body, to find Kaminari standing in front of her looking a little out of it. “Jirou, I can’t handle… much more volts…. Gonna short-circuit. GO!” Jirou turned to run when a hand grabbed her, as well as Kaminari. Kaminari tried shocking the man, only for it to be transferred to Jirou. “K-kaminari, stop…” Jirou pleaded, only to realize it wasn’t it Kaminari anymore. The man spoke for the first time. “Y’know, Copper is an excellent conductor. I knew got the chance to see how much my body can store.” Kaminari was full Jamming Whey mode. That was it. Jirou tried using her jacks, only for the man to shock her body. Jirou blacked out.
Shigaraki was bored. He was sent to find some girl. Something starting with a “Y.” Not only could Shigaraki not find her, he wasn’t allowed to DO anything. He eyed around the corner to find Eraserhead running somewhere. An alarm turned on. An automated voice saying to go the the cafeteria. ‘It seems the box didn’t fool the soldiers.’ He saw a plethora of students run into the room labelled ‘Cafeteria.’ Throughout the crowd, he spotted a black ponytail. With that, Shigaraki turned around and walked back to the Infirmary.
“Luckily the blue haired boy had engines in his legs, or I’d be screwed.” Kurogiri was getting tired of the man with the magnesis quirk. He’s been bragging about him taking down two teenagers for minutes know. Saying, that he “took down his target the fastest,” and that his target, “had one of the most powerful quirks,” the later being a flat out lie. Kurogiri was a polite person by nature, and believed himself to be very patient, but… “Excuse me, but just because you have a magnesis, doesn’t make you have a magnetic personality…” The room grew silent. Copper quirk emerged from the warp gate, saying that, “All right I dropped off my target, I’m going home.” “Why not stick around to help the others? Lizard guy left, and what if someone gets noticed?” Magnesis quirk asked. “I’ve already done what I was being paid for. Unless I’m getting paid extra, I’m outta here.” The Copper quirk left through the warp gate. Shigariki entered the room, much to Kurogiri’s relief. “Ah, Tomura Shigaraki, I’m glad you were able to make it back safe, but where’s your target?” “Eh, the kid got to the cafeteria before I could find her.” Kurogiri hoped the employer could work without one of the targets.”Well, three out of four plus two extra isn’t too bad.” And with that, the “merry” group of villains left through the warp gate.
In a dark room, and figure, cloaked in shadows stood there. He hoped his ‘guests’ woke up soon.
There was work to be done.
Notes:
No, the man with the magnesis quirk is not Magne.

Chapter 8: An Ass and Whiskey
Notes:
WHAT'S THIS?! ME, NOT DEAD? ABSURD.
Yes I'm back. Probably. The reason I was gone was because of school stuff, and school's not going away anytime soon, so I can't be sure I don't take another "break" from writing, but I'll try my best. Anyway, we're done with the details so...
Enjoy or don't
It's your choice :)
Chapter Text
Dark. It was dark in here. The question where “here” was. Kaminari stirred.
‘Ugh... whey-where am I?’ The last thing he remembered was… ‘Shit, Jirou!’ A searing spotlight then assaulted his eyes. He had some weird makeshift helmet on his head, and…. His stomach dropped fifty feet. Wires were protruding all up and down his body, the wires piercing his skin. “Don’t freak out… Don’t freak out…” He muttered to himself. A voice called out, “Wait… I know you!” Kaminari looked over to see Hatsume Mei of the Support Class, in the middle of the room, handcuffed to a chair at a desk. “You’re Cannyvalley Donkey! The electric boy!” she shouted. “Wow, you’re worse than Bakugo. It’s Kaminari Denki, Hatsume.”
“AH! I see you’ve made yourselves comfortable, my guests.” A voice called out of the darkness. Kaminari looked over to see two gleaming eyes in the darkness. “So nice of you to accept my invitation.” Silence gripped the air for what it felt like minutes. Neither the two teens, nor the gleams daring to move. Eventually, the two shines, slithered through the darkness, getting close to Hatsume, but stopping just before the figure stepped into the light. “Let’s get straight to business.” A blueprint dropped seemingly from the sky. “If I were to get you these parts, could you build this?” The pink haired girl looked over the plans, curiosity getting the better of her. ‘Don’t answer, Don’t Answer, Don’t Answer…’ kept repeating in her mind.
“...Yeah, I could... “ ‘DAMMIT’ “...But I don’t know why I should. You kidnap me and my friend here, and then ask me to build you this machine?” “Because, my little guest, I have your motivation to work… right here…” Some button somewhere was pressed, and a screen lowered, and power on, revealing to cells, one containing a purple haired girl, who was currently sitting on the floor, the other containing a blue haired boy, with glasses, said spectacles being cracked.
Jirou Kyouka and Iida Tenya.
Kurogiri polished his favorite glass. A job well done deserved a celebration. While he didn’t exactly feel proud that he condemned those kids to THAT man, a drink could help him forget. He grabbed a drink, Bourbon Whiskey, a nice choice. He poured the drink when the Television next to him flickered to life, NO SIGNAL.
“Kurogiri.” “Ah, All For One, how are you?” “Don’t play coy, Kurogiri, I know you helped your ‘friend.’” “Ah, yes, I was going to tell you about that. I used his request as a lesson to Tomura. I hope you don’t mind.” “I do not mind about the lesson, what I DO mind is that fact that your friend has the potential to ruin everything!”
Kurogiri paused. “I… beg your pardon?” “I have ears everywhere, Kurogiri. I heard about the man’s plan.” “Sir, if I may ask, what is his plan?” “So you don’t know.” “No, sir, you may refer to him as my friend, but I was simply repaying a debt.”
“Is that Master?” Of all times. “Yes, Tomura. It’s me. Tomura, I suggest you gather a team of people. You’re put a wrench in the works of Kurogiri’s friend.”
“~Ooh sabotage? Count me in~” a voice called out in a sing-song tone.
Standing at the doorway was Toga Himiko and Dabi.
“This should be fun,” said the man with the burning blue eyes.
